The head of the EU Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX), Gabriele Meucci, today on the occasion of International Women’s Day said this day serves as a reminder that gender equality remains a significant challenge worldwide, including in Kosovo. “I remain strongly supportive of all local and international women here in Kosovo as they strive to build an efficient and independent justice system providing equal access to justice for all. I urge all institutions in Kosovo to reflect and acknowledge the fundamental role women play in the development of a prosperous and democratic society,” Meucci said.
