Serbia recognizing Kosovo “will remain the unfulfilled dream of Pristina separatists,” Marko Djuric has said.

Reacting to statements by provincial officials, including the newly-elected President of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci, the Director of the Serbian Government’s Office for Kosovo and Metohija said that “Belgrade and Serbia want to have truly good and stable relations with Pristina and all Albanians in the region.”

However, he added, this cannot be based on “Pristina’s greater-state fantasies” but rather on “working together to implement agreements and arrangements that are useful to citizens.”
