Pristina authorities still do not allow the passage of trucks from Serbia, which transport hazardous materials (oil and gas) through the administrative crossings.

Kosovo authorities call such measures reciprocal, and the Serbian government says that Pristina is violating the CEFTA agreement and that they are in constant communication with Brussels on this issue. For now there is no progress in resolving the blockade which causes great damage.

There are no new explanations about the decision that was taken last week.
The decision was passed last week without Serbian members of the Kosovo government.

“The practice of making bad decisions continue and without the knowledge of Serbian members. Unfortunately this is a reaction to the pressure of certain opposition extremist parties who object to everything that is Serbian and the government in Pristina thus reduces theirs dissatisfaction,” said Kosovo Deputy Prime Branimir Stojanovic.

The decision of the Kosovo government is one-sided and not in the service of normalization of relations between Belgrade and Pristina.

“We are constantly going one step forward and two back. The consequences are borne by the people who live here,” says Stojanovic.

Belgrade expects a quick solution to this problem as well as the Serbs in Kosovo because, as Stojanovic says, Pristina cannot behave as if there is neither CEFTA nor any other arrangement.
