Head of the Vetevendosje parliamentary group, Glauk Konjuvca, held today a press conference regarding the findings of the international commission for demarcation of the border between Kosovo and Montenegro. He said that the commission used Murat Meha’s material, and added that the findings are the same as those of the Kosovo state Commission. “We have announced on 15 March that if this commission uses Murat Meha’s material, of course the results would be the same. And now, after the report of this commission, we convinced that the same materials were used, the same maps. Our concern was that if the Commission is based on the cadastral material, then the internationals would come to this conclusion.

And Kosovo is losing. This international Commission had another deficiency, it had only one expert. Our objection was that no Albanian expert was involved. On the other hand, the President of the Republic did not respond according to her duty being that she did not consider the 205 thousand signatures of Kosovo citizens that we have submitted to her.

Another fact which shows how unprepared this Commission was is that the same ones hailed demarcation of the border with Macedonia, and we know that Kosovo lost territory then,” Konjufca said.

“It is  really unacceptable and professionally suspicious for a Commission from three people, being that we had in front of us thousands of materials, to come and conclude the issue for 15 days. This Commission came to give an international wrapping to it,” Konjufca said.
