Humanitarian assistance for the soup kitchen in Prekovce (KIM Radio)

The District of South-Bačka, in cooperation with the Novi Sad Red Cross, Institute for farming and the Juice Producer Nektar, yesterday handed over a humanitarian aid to the soup kitchen in village Prekovce in Novo Brdo/Novobërdë Municipality.

The head of the South-Bačka region, Zoran Milošević, promised that this way of assistance will continue to be provided by Vojvodina province, and voiced hope that the need for humanitarian aid to Kosovo Serbs will not be needed in future, since their living conditions will be improved. The chairperson of the humanitarian organization “Majka devet Jugovića”, which organizes the work of the soup kitchens in Kosovo and Metohija, Svetlana Stević, thanked for the assistance and said that donations are the only manner of funding of this organization that provides food for some 800 users.
