Dejan Vlaskovic, a member of the Kosovo Police rapid reaction unit, was brutally beaten up on Monday evening in Mitrovica North. Sources told the news agency that Vlaskovic was off duty and driving under the influence of alcohol when he hit a parked vehicle. Several people walked out of a restaurant nearby and beat up Vlaskovic unconscious. “Ivan Mladjevic, a known drug dealer, was the one that beat up Vlaskovic the most,” a source said. Vlaskovic is now receiving treatment at the Mitrovica north hospital. The news agency tried to contact the Kosovo Police deputy director for the north, Besim Hoti, but the latter did not answer his phone.
