The chairperson of the Serbian Parliament’s Committee for Kosovo and Metohija, Milovan Drecun, stated that it was expected that agreements will be reached with Pristina in Brussels because Serbian delegation has defended state interests, and added that they will insist on further normalization of relations.

Drecun said in the morning TV news program of Radio Television Serbian that Serbian delegation has had support in Brussels and that the model and frame was agreed on how to reach the agreement.

He reflected on problems in relation to the creation of the Association/Community of Serb-majority Municipalities and voiced expectation that situation will soon change and that Pristina can’t find excuses to block its creation. “We will insist on the Community of Serb-majority Municipalities, because Serbs have recognized it as a way to reconcile and as a way to have a future without hatred. It is now left to Albanian population, which is the majority, to recognize this,” said Drecun.
