Associations representing families of missing persons, during a round-table organized yesterday to mark the week of the missing in Kosovo, did not exclud the possibility of protests to find out about the fate of the missing. They presented some of the challenges that they are currently facing, such as the government’s failure to provide official information for more than 1660 missing persons, the lack of a working strategy of the government commission, lack of professional staff for missing persons in the Prime Minister’s office and uncoordinated work between local institutions and international ones. The families of the missing persons also expressed concern that representatives of the Prime Minister’s office and EULEX did not attend the meeting.
