Dalibor Jevtić, Minister for Communities and Return, visited the municipality of Vitina/Viti and said it was very important that the Serbs return to the village of Podgorce.

– Village Podgorce in the municipality Vitina/Viti is a true example that return is not dependent on one or the other side, it depends of the displaced and they must say why they are not in Podgorce, where we built 34 houses for returnees. They must say what are the reasons, whether is economic or security situation bad, so we would solve this problem – said Jevtić, reports RTK2.

During the visit to Vitina/Viti, Jevtić met with the President of the municipality Sokol Haliti, where he discussed on the life of non-majority communities, safety and projects in general in the municipality.

On this occasion a joint message has been sent for the IDPs to return, and Haliti said that return conditions exist and that the security concerns are minimal.
