The front page editorial of the paper notes that return of the biggest opposition party at the Assembly is a warning for return of the tensioned sessions and deepening of political crisis. Vetevendosje movement has ended its boycott of the Parliament, on the verge of the ratification of the agreement for demarcation of the border with Montenegro and re-actualization of the Association/Community of the Serb-majority Municipalities. According to the paper these are two harmful agreements contested harshly by the opposition forces, political analysts and civil society. “After a parliamentary quietness, the legislative body could transform again in the arena of clashes of the opposition deputies with security forces and we can see through the broadcasters MPs being dragged out as well as teargas.”
Further the paper notes the negative impact of the last year’s scenes at the Assembly stressing that such scenes affected Kosovo’s image and insulted Kosovo population who elected MPs to defend their interests instead of their own private ones.
Mustafa’s government should reconsider signed agreements, if it wants to overcome expected obstacles on functioning of the institutions. It is unforgivable that the current leadership is being irresponsible and it is not undertaking any initiative to dialogue and find common language with opposition. The European officials stressed several times the necessity of the partnership with opposition, as a key element for the parliamentarian flow and normality of the governance of the country. However their remarks met a deaf ear. As consequence, political divisions have become even deeper, warning on grim days for Kosovo, concludes this daily
