‘Serbs will have an influence on the formation of the Association / Community of Serb Municipalities (A/CSM), since the establishment would be meaningless without it.’ This is how Branimir Stojanović, Kosovo’s deputy prime minister commented on the statement of Hashim Thaçi, President of the interim institutions in Pristina, on Belgrade’s role in this process. Thaci announced that soon will be formed a working group for the A/CSM, but that Serbian representatives will not participate in it. “It is obvious that the international pressure on the formation of the A/CSM is growing and that this will be a priority topic in the following period,” said Stojanović.

“It is obvious that the international community finally realized that Pristina is the one who is delaying the implementation of the Brussels agreements, and that they requested from Pristina to fulfil their part of obligations,” says Goran Rakić, Mayor of northern Mitrovica.
