The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa, on Wednesday participated in the promotion of the “Administrative Instruction for the Registration of Joint Property”, organized by the Agency for Gender Equality. Mustafa said that sustainable development of Kosovo cannot be achieved without ensuring the participation and contribution of all citizens, especially women and girls, who constitute half of the population of Kosovo. “Women are a very important factor when it comes to  economic development, educational development, health development and cultural and social development in Kosovo. The empowerment of women is our priority,” Mustafa said. Speaking about the access of women and girls in property, Mustafa said that the current situation in Kosovo is not satisfactory since very few women and girls are registering the properties on their name or exercise their right to inheritance.
