Three years after the signing of the Brussels Agreement, the majority of Serbs in municipalities where they are the majority population in Kosovo are dissatisfied with the current security situation and estimate it as very negative, showed research of the Human Center from Mitrovica North. The study, whose results were presented today at the Center of Civic Energy in Mitrovica North show that only nine per cent of the citizens positively assess the security situation after the signing of the Brussels Agreement. 71.5 per cent of the citizens believe that the Brussels agreement is not a guarantee of security for the Serbs, while 9.3 per cent think it is. More than half of Serbs no longer trust the Kosovo Police even after the integration of Serbian Police into the Kosovo police system.

Trust in institutions is very bad, and according to the results, 71.8 per cent of Serbs do not trust anyone, only 3.9 per cent of Serbs believes to EULEX and 8.2 per cent believe to KFOR. According to these results, the biggest security risk is still the freedom of movement, trafficking in arms and narcotics as well human trafficking, followed by the terrorism, and crime, while corruption is currently the lowest security risk.
