Director of the Serbian Government Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Marko Đurić said this evening that “the persistent aggressive rhetoric”, which often is veiled and sometimes not even that, or anti-Serb, by individuals in Pristina, creates negative social climate in which is difficult to achieve normalization of relations between Serbs and Albanians.

– The European Union should not satisfy itself with providing premises in which the representatives of Belgrade and Pristina are meeting, and to be a silent witness to those talks, because they, as the mediator in the talks, should take over the burden of responsibility for the implementation of the agreements reached – said Đurić in interview with Sputnik.

Speaking of “mild hysteria” that has occurred in Pristina after the start of construction of returnee settlements “Sunny Valley,” Djuric said that “it is obvious that for the Albanians, every Serb in Kosovo is too much.”

– Serbs have expressed great interest due to the construction of this settlement. No one can deny us the right to return – says Đurić in an interview for Sputnik.
