From 2010 until today the European Union has invested more than EUR 54 million in 124 projects in northern Kosovo. Project implemented so far value EUR 8.5 million, whereas EUR 37.25 million are in the process of implementation, whilst works related to the projects in total value of EUR 8.5 million are still pending.
Most of the projects are planned to take place in Mitrovica North (38), Leposavić/Leposaviq (34), Zvečan/Zveçan (23), Zubin Potok (21), projects covering all four municipalities in northern Kosovo (7) and one inter-municipal project.
When it comes to areas of investments, most of the projects are planned to bust the agriculture (46), infrastructure (27), non-governmental sector (26) and economic development (25).
