Montenegrin MP from the ranks of the opposition Democratic Front (DF), Milan Knežević, yesterday said during the Assembly session that this party will revoke decision on recognition of Kosovo, as well as the decision on introducing sanctions to Russian Federation, if they win elections in October.

“Democratic Front, when it comes to power in following parliamentary elections, will revoke decision of the incumbent authorities in Montenegro and annul the foreign policy decision on recognition of Kosovo and its independence,” said Knežević.

He also said that DF will abolish sanctions against the Russian Federation too, and reestablish good relations between the official Moscow and Podgorica. “Our main foreign policy priority will be abolishing sanctions against Russia, which were introduced by the incumbent authorities,” said Knežević.

Knežević went on to say that Albanians in Montenegro would get their municipality Malesija-Tuzi, and wider cultural autonomy than they currently enjoy.
