The director of the Serbian Government’s Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Marko Đurić, said that big powers now, in a way, need Association/Community of Serb majority municipalities as a kind of leverage for making the balance in politics. Đurić said to TV Pink that it is ‘very important’ that something that was Serbia’s proposal is supported and by those who recognize Kosovo’s independence.

He reminded that concept of the A/CSM has emerged in Belgrade, and this means that Serbs should enjoy more rights in Kosovo and Metohija than they enjoy today. The US vice-president Joseph Biden has called Pristina yesterday to ratify demarcation agreement with Montenegro and enable creation of the A/CSM, otherwise it will lose the US support.
