Prime Minister Mustafa meets UNMIK chief Tanin (media)

Koha covers today’s meeting between Kosovo Prime Minister Isa Mustafa and UNMIK chief Zahir Tanin under the headline “Kosovo aspires to join the United Nations”. Zeri quotes PM Mustafa as saying that Kosovo has achieved progress in all areas. The Office of the Prime Minister issued the following press release after the meeting: “The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa, met today with the Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary General, Zahir Tanin. Mustafa said Kosovo is achieving overall progress. Mustafa welcomed the support by the United Nations in the earlier phases. He stressed the overall promotion of Kosovo’s statehood and international subjectivity and also Kosovo’s commitment to become a member of the United Nations. Prime Minister Mustafa also talked about economic development, strengthening the rule of law, consolidating democracy and the full integration of non-majority communities in Kosovar society. The meeting also discussed the quarterly report on Kosovo at the United Nations Security Council and Kosovo’s multidimensional progress.”
