Kosovo’s Minister of Internal Affairs, Skender Hyseni, met on Monday the United States Ambassador to Kosovo, Greg Delawie. Hyseni and Delawie discussed the cooperation between Kosovo and the US in the field of rule of law. “In all the processes through which we have passed, we always had the support of the US and for this we will always be thankful,” Hyseni said. During the meeting it was noted that the cooperation between the police and law enforcement institutions of the two places should expand further. Hyseni said it was important to maintain a strategic partnership with the US in fighting crime, violent extremism and terrorism and human trafficking. Meanwhile, Ambassador Delawie said the US is committed to cooperate with Kosovo in advancing the democratization of Kosovo and support in strengthening the rule of law.
