Kosovo Minister for Return and Communities Dalibor Jevtić says that the Serbian list will prepare an appeal which will be referred to the Constitutional Court with an explanation why they consider the adoption of the law on Trepča as violation of the constitution and certain laws.

According to Jevtić’s words, the Serbian List will use all legal and democratic mechanism to solve this problem.

Regarding the statement of head of the parliamentary group of the Democratic Alliance of Kosovo Ismet Beqiri that Serbs cannot blackmail the government and that they do not have the right to ask what they have asked, because everything was done according to the law, Jevtić says that this is the wrong approach and thinking, because it is not about blackmail.

“It’s about the need of Serbian people who live in Kosovo. If one ignores the fact of Serbs being here, that they exist, and if the existence of Serbs is blackmail to someone, then this is the wrong approach. This is not about some blackmail but the need to solve the problem,” said Jevtić.
