The President of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, congratulated the elected President of the United States, Donald Trump, for the victory in the presidential elections.
President Thaçi has said that the permanent friendship between Kosovo and the USA is the basis on which the deepening of the bilateral cooperation will continue.
On behalf of the people and institutions of Kosovo, President Thaçi has also wished the elected US President a successful mandate in the implementation of the priorities of the American people.
“Being aware of the leading role of the United States of America in the international arena, I am convinced that the elected President, with the highest responsibility will address the numerous challenges on global level. The everlasting friendship between our two countries and people is the basis upon which we will continue the deepening of the bilateral cooperation”, said President Thaçi.
“We are permanently grateful to Secretary Clinton for her continued support for the people and state of Kosovo”, concluded President Thaçi.
