The Prime Minister of Kosovo Isa Mustafa, said that the role of the civil society in Kosovo is very important, and proposed for them to be more involved in the Brussels dialogue between Pristina and Belgrade as well as on the implementation of the Stabilization Association Agreement signed between Kosovo and the European Union.
Mustafa also considered that the civil society should be involved on the election reform.
He made these comments at the meeting of the CiviKos platform which gathers majority of Non-governmental organizations of the civil society. After this meeting, Mustafa admitted that the governing coalition does not currently have sufficient votes to endorse the agreement on demarcation of the border with Montenegro. However he added that they have not given up proceeding of the agreement at the Assembly before the end of the year.
