Mustafa and Vucic to meet in Brussels next week (Telegrafi)
The EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Federica Mogherini, said she invited prime ministers of Kosovo and Serbia, Isa Mustafa and Aleksandar Vucic respectively, to meet in Brussels for the next round of dialogue for normalization of relations. The meeting will take place on 24 January.
Tahiri: Tensions in the north delaying implementation of agreements (RFE)
Kosovo’s Minister for Dialogue, Edita Tahiri, said that the opening of the Mitrovica main bridge was postponed because of “negative developments incited by Serbia”. She said that even the justice agreement that was scheduled to be implemented on 10 January was postponed because of the recent developments. “Provocations have been of dramatic dimensions that represent a threat for regional peace and stability,” Tahiri said.

Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) associations are staging a protest in Pristina today against the detention of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) leader Ramush Haradinaj by French authorities on a warrant issued by Serbia.
Kosovo women to join Women’s March on Washington (Koha)
Kosovo Women’s Network has organized a march in Pristina today to join the Women’s March on Washington against sexist and denigrating language against women involved in Kosovo politics. “Leaders and politicians, as representatives of the citizens of Kosovo, should be an example of equality and respect for human rights,” the Women’s Network said in a statement.
OSCE calls on media to uphold professional standards (RTK)
The head of the OSCE Mission in Kosovo, Ambassador Jan Braathu, reiterated the critical need for the media in Kosovo to uphold professional and ethical standards in their work and refrain from publishing materials that could lead to tensions or unjustly undermine personal or professional integrity of individuals. Reacting to an article published on the RTK website, Ambassador Braathu said journalists and their editors should ensure respect for factual and reliable information.
