Rapporteur for Serbia and chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the European Parliament, David McAllister, said that Belgrade and Pristina are expected to remain committed to dialogue. McAllister pointed out that Belgrade and Pristina are expected not to play “game” of mutual accusations and to refrain from any action that would jeopardize the progress achieved so far in the process.

“We all watched what happened in the past few weeks and I think that this development points out for the need of stronger involvement of both sides. I think it was the message that we received after the latest round of dialogue, in the meantime, should continue to implement agreements reached earlier,” said McAllister to newspaper Danas.

McAllister said that “both Kosovo and Serbia should continue on its path towards the EU, which means that both sides should avoid blocking each other and that both of them have to fulfill their obligations”.
