A hand grenade was found, and deactivated, yesterday in vicinity of the sport playground in Orahovac.

Olivera Radić, journalist from Orahovac, said to RTV Kim that the grenade was noticed by a local Albanian resident that lives in vicinity of the sport playground and later informed Kosovo Police. She added that residents of Orahovac are disturbed because the grenade was found next to the playground where Serbian and Albanian children are playing.

The sport playground in Serbian part of Orahovac was constructed by UNMIK in 2000, with the goal to provide better living conditions back than at the time of isolation. This is the second time that a hand grenade was found in vicinity of the same sport playground. The first case was registered in 2013.
