Azem Vllasi, Pristina-based lawyer, who was wounded this morning in front of his apartment in Pristina, told the news agency that “the attacker had a weapon with a silencer and based on his features was a paid assassin”. “Before 8 A.M, someone rang our bell. I opened the door and saw a man holding some papers. He told me had a property dispute. I told him that I don’t work on such cases and that he should see another lawyer across the street. I don’t know if he came from Germany or if someone sent him. I went in to get a piece of paper and write down a number for him. When I went out again he shot me in the arm with a gun with a silencer and then left. Based on his features, he was a paid assassin. Investigations will reveal the motive and who sent him. I never had any problems with anyone during my professional work. My family has no problems or disputes with anyone. I don’t want to make any guesses. Investigations will reveal everything,” Vllasi said.
