The indictment was filed against the Minister and two officials of the Ministry of Communities and Returns, because the Ministry gave a vehicle unlawfully to KiM Radio from Čaglavica/Cagllavicë. The Ministry denies the charges.
Kosovo Special Prosecution Office in the Municipal Court in Pristina charged the Minister for Communities and Return Dalibor Jevtić, as well as two officials of the Ministry, N.S. and M.P. that “as the officials, they had exceeded their authority and responsibilities aimed at gaining benefits,” and that the vehicle was “given for permanent use” to KiM Radio.
Spokesman of the Ministry Uroš Staletović says, on this occasion, that the vehicle been given only for the use.
“It was only given for temporary use, meantime the vehicle was returned to the ministry and it is here. Everything was done according to the procedures in force. Article 31 provides association for the purposes of obtaining illegal benefits. That was not the case here; therefore it’s not possible to prove. In general, this was not based on real grounds,” said Staletović.
Director of RTV Kim Isak Vorgučić also denies that the vehicle has been given permanently, and said that the vehicle has been returned to the Ministry end of this year. The Article 3, of the contract, specifies the Ministry as the owner, and the right to return the vehicle in any time. And what has been done in the end.
