The Association of Kosovo Montenegrins issued a press statement today saying that all members of the Kosovo Assembly must make a public and transparent oath whereby pledging they will protect Kosovo’s sovereignty. The statement, issued by association chairman Slobodan Vujicic, notes that such an oath would prevent Serb MPs from deceiving Kosovo Serbs. “Such an oath would make it clear to all citizens that Serbian List MPs, just like all other MPs, are sworn to protect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Kosovo. Now is the final time for masks to fall off and for the people to know the real truth. Whereas, those that break this oath in the future and threaten their country’s sovereignty and integrity with their activities, will have to face justice,” the statement noted.
