Enver Hasani, former rector of the University of Pristina (UP) and former head of Kosovo’s Constitutional Court, has been found guilty of fraud.  Hasani’s other two co-defendants, Albert Rakipi from a Tirana based company and Hakif Veliu, University of Pristina official, were also found guilty and ordered to pay a fine while Hasani was given a conditional one-year prison sentence. Furthermore, the three men have to compensate UP for a damage of €70,000. Hasani, Rakipi and Veliu were indicted of forging the contract for translation of books from English into Albanian in 2009.
