The government of Kosovo signed today agreement with the U.S. company “Contour Global” for construction of a new power plant “Kosova e Re”. Kosovo leaders hailed the agreement as a historic day. Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj said he was happy the project is finally beginning to be implemented while President Hashim Thaci said 10,000 new jobs will be opened. “This power plant will not only regulate the energy problem – but also that of investments in Kosovo,” Thaci said. Assembly President Kadri Veseli said the agreement is a huge step for Kosovo’s economic development.
