Minister of Internal Affairs, Flamur Sefaj condemned the murder of Oliver Ivanovic, saying that such acts do not help the processes that Kosovo is going though, Indeksonline reports.
“I express my regrets for the murder of Oliver Ivanovic, and I express my sincere condolences to his family. I call on all citizens to cooperate with the authorities in solving this case and such acts do not help our society in its efforts for rule of law. I call on Kosovo citizens to keep calm and wait for the investigations results of the responsible institutions. The Ministry of Internal Affairs and its institutions remain committed to solve this case as soon as possible and bring the perpetrators to justice” Sefaj is quoted.
Right after the act, Minister Sefaj received the Mitrovica South mayor Agim Bahtiri, where both expressed their regrets.
During this meeting, Minister Sefaj and mayor Bahtiri, through the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Milan Radojevic, contacted the Mitrovica north mayor Goran Rakic and expressed full readiness to solve the case.
