Several online media report that Kosovo publicist Veton Surroi has suggested today that a Kosovo Assembly delegation, consisting of MPs from the ruling coalition and the opposition, should attend the funeral of Kosovo Serb political leader Oliver Ivanovic. Ivanovic was gunned down by unknown assailants on Tuesday morning in front of his office in Mitrovica North. “It would be appropriate for the Kosovo Assembly to announce that a parliamentary delegation consisting of the ruling coalition and the opposition, will attend the funeral of Oliver Ivanovic, a former Assembly member … In these times, the readiness to stand above political differences and an unresolved conflict will honor both the institution and the country,” Surroi wrote on Facebook.
