The European Commissioner for Neighbourhood Policy & Enlargement Negotiations, Johannes Hahn, posted in separate tweets that he had good meetings in Davos with Kosovo and Serbia Prime Ministers, Hashim Thaci and Aleksandar Vucic. “Good meeting with Hashim Thaci at the World Economic Forum in Davos. The European Union has self-interest to bring the entire Western Balkans region forward. In return, stronger efforts are needed by all countries. Dialogue is key for progress of the Serbian Government and Kosovo,” Hahn tweeted. In another tweet, Hahn wrote: “Very good meeting with Aleksandar Vucic at the World Economic Forum at Davos. 2018 can be the year of the Western Balkans if all leaders keep pushing reforms and reconciliation, including resolving bilateral problems”.
