Kosovo Prime Minister, Ramush Haradinaj, laid flowers at the memorial plaque in Pristina for Jews that lost their lives during the Holocaust. “Albanians in Kosovo feel honored to have passed the test as a nation at that time, but by remembering the tragedy of the past we also send the message that we must all be vigilant and never allow for such tragedies to happen again. Our people experienced tragedies. There was the tragedy of the 1998-1999 war and we are sensitive about this,” Haradinaj said on the occasion of the International Holocaust Remembrance Day.
