The Kosovo Assembly is expected to adopt a set of documents on Wednesday which should finally settle the long-running controversy over the Kosovo-Montenegro border agreement.

The breakthrough is a result of a recent agreement betweenthe prime minister of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj and the main opposition party, Democratic League of Kosovo, LDK.

The two sides, which have been bitterly fighting over this issue for a long time, have found a somewhat paradoxical solution to this problem: at the same session, the Assembly will approve the border agreement with Montenegro as well as two reports offering conflicting views about how this agreement affects Kosovo.
