Kosovo leaders meet Slovenian FM (media)

Kosovo Assembly President Kadri Veseli and Kosovo’s Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, met today with Slovenia’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs, Karl Erjevec.

They both talked about the good spirit of cooperation between Kosovo and Slovenia and stressed that Slovenia is one of the greatest investors in Kosovo.

PM Haradinaj requested continuance of Slovenia’s support in the international plan. “Your support on new recognitions, membership at INTERPOL, UNESCO, and process of Euro-Atlantic integration has a great meaning for us. We are a Euro-Atlantic country, this is our destination,” Haradinaj said and reiterated position of respecting each entity of Kosovo.

“Creation of the army of Kosovo through constitutional mandate, does not change the security balance in the region, furthermore, it contributes to it,” Haradinaj said.

Erjavec valued achievements and great progress made in Kosovo during the last ten years, expressing readiness and devotion of his country for bilateral cooperation in the field of economy, as well as support for Kosovo on its integration path, membership at international organisations and leadership of regional initiatives.

Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo and Minister for Foreign Affairs, Behxhet Pacolli, Kosovo’s Ambassador to Slovenia, Nexhmi Rexhepi and Slovenian Ambassador to Kosovo, Bojan Bertoncelj, also participated at the meeting.
