Deputy Leader of Peoples Party (NS) Nikola Jovanovic said there is a room to reach a compromised solution for Kosovo, however the authorities in Serbia are negotiating unskillfully and damaging the credibility of the state, thus becoming conducive for pressure, BETA news agency reported.
“USA has more important foreign policy priorities and is exercising less pressure on Serbia than before, which opens a maneuver room for a compromised solution,” Jovanovic said, adding that however “since 2013, the authorities in Serbia are negotiating incompetently and irresponsibly. They also made so many concessions to get the Association of the Serb Municipalities and for five years were fulfilling all that was not in our favor and yet the Association is not established.”
