Kosovo Police has rebutted reporting that Serbia’s Minister of Culture, Vladan Vukosavljevic was not permitted to enter Kosovo.
“As a continuation of correct public information and in order to avoid possible disinformation, the Kosovo Police based on the decision of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of RKS to allow the entry of the Minister of Culture, Mr. Vlado Vukosavljevic, we inform that the same was allowed to enter the territory of Kosovo in conformity with the decision, but the same after the entry did not proceed to the north of Mitrovica, willingly returning back to Serbia, “reads the police announcement.
Police also say that Vukosavljevic’s entry was scheduled to take place via the border crossing at Merdare, but he chose Jarinje.
