Kocijanic: Mogherini in Belgrade on dialogue foremost (Tanjug, RTS)

EU High Representative Federica Mogherini would reiterate during her visit to Belgrade that commitment to working on normalization of Belgrade-Pristina relations, within a dialogue she mediates, must continue, European Commission Spokeswoman, Maja Kocijancic told Serbian media.

Kocijancic also added Mogherini would meet in Belgrade representatives of the authorities and civil society to discuss European Commission report on Serbia.

Meanwhile, Head of the EU Delegation to Belgrade, Sem Fabrizi told RTS that dialogue and normalization of Belgrade-Pristina relations are the main segment of Mogherini’s visit to Belgrade.

Talking for the RTS news edition, Fabrizi added he expects Mogherini would have a good and useful talks in Belgrade.

Speaking about Association/Community of Serb-Majority Municipalities Fabrizi said it is foreseen to establish it within 4-month deadline, and the time start running as of last week.

“We must remain optimistic, but realistic as well,” he said.

Fabrizi added Federica Mogherini would encourage Belgrade to deal with all the issues, as EU wishes to reach a full normalization of Belgrade-Pristina relations, Serbian media reported.
