The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Mission in Kosovo organized a roundtable on Monday in Peja, where the mayors of Peja, Gjakova, Istog, Klina, Decan and Junik, signed a joint statement affirming the political commitment of these municipalities to promote dialogue and relations between communities living in these regions, and creating a platform for better relations between the communities, especially among the youth. Before the signing ceremony, OSCE Head of Mission, Ambassador Jan Braathu, highlighted the importance of the statement which will promote different projects and activities in the communities. “The signing of these statement is important to draft and implement projects in the communities. We will provide extensive support to the municipalities and include all communities in the designing of the activities. The activities will encourage other projects aimed at promoting dialogue,” Braathu said.
