Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) deputy leader, Lutfi Haziri, said in an interview to TV Dukagjini that the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) imposed the general elections back in 2007. “We were asked to find a suitable date for elections, but after the declaration of independence. The United Nations Mission in Kosovo, behind our backs issued a decree for the November elections due to pressure from the PDK that the status of independence cannot be concluded without elections,” Haziri said.
