I am surprised with the impudence of Kosovo Office Director, Marko Djuric who came from Belgrade to take part in Srpska Lista (SL) electoral assembly, during which a man known by everybody as a mafia man was elected as its deputy chair, Rada Trajkovic, leader of the Serb European Movement told Danas daily.
Radojicic, whom the stories depict as “a lord of the north of Kosovo,” while Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj said several times, “he is in constant contact with him,” since “he is a man who has authority,” was elected as SL deputy chair in a session held on Friday, June 8. However, SL press statement does not elaborate on the way how this decision was made.
According to Danas, Trajkovic claims that newly elected SL deputy chair, contributed to the political assassination of Oliver Ivanovic, and that he together with his men over the previous period carried out a complete criminalization of the territory north of the Ibar River.
According to Trajkovic, Radojicic is a man directly working on the destabilization of the north of Kosovo, so many Serbs out of fear, in particular after the murder of Oliver Ivanovic, decide to leave that area. Previous statements of Marko Djuric who has said several times he knows nothing about the role of Milan Radojicic in the north of Kosovo, and on Friday took part in a session where Radojicic was elected as SL deputy chair, Trajkovic assessed as “false” claiming the two of them are very close.
“Radojicic regularly welcomes and farewells Djuric, and they spend lots of times together during different activities and lunches. Many are asking what significance Radojicic has for Belgrade authorities. We believe that it is him who ensures the victory of Srpska Lista in elections, using well known methods, such as vehicle arsons, intimidation and “summoning” people to the voting stations. Also, he secures financial support from illegal channels to this political option,” Rada Trajkovic said.
Trajkovic also went on saying that Radojicic gets his power not from citizens, but from the Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, Recalling earlier Vucic’s statement that he never met Radojicic, Trajkovic said it is not true, since until the murder of Oliver Ivanovic, Radojicic was always among the people welcoming Vucic during his visits to Kosovo.
She also claims Marko Djuric would not be able to visit the north of Kosovo is he did not accept Radojicic, since he is that powerful, he can influence people whether to gather and welcome someone from Belgrade or boycott him, Danas daily reported.
