Coming out of the meeting with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic under the facilitation of the EU High Representative Federica Mogherini, President of Kosovo Hashim Thaci said it was the most difficult since the start of the dialogue for normalisation of relations. “It was the briefest meeting but the most difficult one in the last six years,” Thaci said. He added that Kosovo’s commitment to the process of dialogue is “serious” and that “we will give our utmost to reach a final agreement”. He said the Serbian side needs to realise Kosovo is an independent country and that he anticipates more difficult meetings in the coming period.
