In the light of visa liberalization for Kosovo, no one is mentioning passports of Kosovo Serbs issued by Coordination Centre in Belgrade. Those who cannot obtain Kosovo documents would practically remain in a ghetto, DW writes.

As Milica Andric, told DW, citizens of Serbia who reside in Kosovo have Serbian passports of a second importance, issued by the Coordination Centre. These passports are not visa free and it was a condition placed before Serbia to get the visa liberalization in August 2009.

Today, Kosovo Serbs have three types of passports, the biometric ones issued by dislocated police administration from Kosovo by August 2009, which although refer to cities based in Kosovo are visa free, then those issued by the Coordination Centre after August 2009 which are not visa free and “normal” Serbian passports they obtained by registering residences in Serbia. There is also a fourth type of passports issued by the Kosovo institutions, still a small percentage of Serbs have these passports, DW continued.

Given the announced visa liberalization those who only have passports issued by the Coordination Centre would remain as the most isolated group in the Balkans, since no one is mentioning visa liberalization for this type of documents, DW reported.
