The Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) has called on opposition parties to meet and discuss the motion to bring down the Haradinaj-led government. The news website notes that the opposition has 58 votes (LDK, VV and PSD) in the Assembly and that 61 votes in favor are needed to adopt a possible motion. Asked to comment on a statement by PSD deputy leader Dardan Sejdiu to initiate the motion, LDK deputy leader, Agim Veliu, said the statement was political marketing but added that his party is interested to find ways in “relieving Kosovo from the current government as soon as possible”. “We are open to cooperate with all political parties that are interested in this regard … We can certainly meet and discuss the issue,” Veliu said. Sejdiu said recently that his party (PSD) would give their 12 votes in favor of the motion.
