In an interview with Telegrafi, Prime Minister of Kosovo Ramush Haradinaj said that the dialogue with Serbia is aimed at ending in mutual recognition and that there will be no other outcome. “I see panicking and talk of different issues but this is what will happen at the end,” Haradinaj said. He noted that talk of exchange of territories or partition of Kosovo is only unnecessarily causing panic and confusion with the people. Speaking about the Association/Community of Serb-majority municipalities, Haradinaj said the draft statute will be presented in the EU-facilitated dialogue in Brussels by chief negotiator for technical issues, Avni Arifi, and will be assessed whether it is in line with Constitution of Kosovo. “However, at the same time, related to this is the energy agreement which has not progressed,” Haradinaj said adding that this is a he is now facing a dilemma of whether he should accept the draft statute at a time when implementation of the energy agreement has not made progress or reject the statute and give pretext to Serbia for possible unilateral actions.
