Representatives of the Vetevendosje Movement said today that they are ready to organize protests against Kosovo President Hashim Thaci over his statements for “border corrections”. Vetevendosje MP, Albulena Haxhiu, told a press conference in Pristina today that the draft-statute of the Association/Community of Serb-majority municipalities is in opposition to the Constitution of Kosovo. Haxhiu further argued that “President Thaci lacks credibility from the Assembly and the people of Kosovo to go to Brussels and hold talks with [Serbian President] Vucic”. Vetevendosje MP, Arberie Nagavci, said Kosovo should go to early parliamentary elections and added that VV could also organize protests against Thaci. “We will use different ways to prevent President Thaci from further damaging the country. We don’t rule out protests,” she added.
