Kosovo Assembly President and leader of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), Kadri Veseli, said today that Kosovo is one and that it will not be divided. “Kosovo will take part in dialogue. From dialogue, it expects to be recognized as an independent and sovereign state, to join United Nations organizations, and to safeguard its partnership with the United States of America and the European Union,” Veseli said during a visit to a sports stadium in Mitrovica. “This is our objective and any other statement is a game aimed at installing insecurity, fear and uncertainty. Kosovo and our citizens don’t need this at all. Kosovo is one, it is united, and everyone can forget about partition or any threats to Kosovo. I haven’t seen anything in statements by leaders that could give way to threats to our country and sovereignty”. Veseli also said: “The north will always be ours … Very soon and in cooperation with Mayor Goran Rakic we will start rebuilding all the burned houses … This is part of Kosovo, Albanians and Serbs will live wherever they want … Kosovo is one and it is not divided in the north and south … Kosovo will never be divided. Partition will never be a topic of discussion. We are communicating to ensure the best integration of communities in our country”.
