The Association of the Prosecutors of Kosovo informed that former prosecutor Elez Blakaj has not expressed any concern or threat related to his work. According to this Association, public statements of the resigning prosecutor are coverage of his own personal interests. “So far, no prosecutor of Kosovo’s prosecution system, including former prosecutor Blakaj, has expressed any concern, be it as a threat or influence on his independent and unbiased work from anyone. Therefore, public announcements for alleged threats or influence on the prosecution system, are to cover his personal or anybody else’s interests,” is written in the reaction.
