Boris Pahor, President of Slovenia, believes the future members of the EU should resolve mutual disputes prior to EU membership. He told Viennese Die Presse that the optimism expressed at the European Alpbach Forum with regards to the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue is required. “Problems exist and they require a comprehensive and patient approach,” Pahor said.
“I have two messages for the countries of the region: the first one is that problems with neighbors should resolve, and the second is that it is necessary to respect the agreement,” Pahor said.
